The Pink Event® Celebrates 16 Years of Bringing Women Together for an Evening of Connection, Recognition and Legacy

HANOVER, Md.—October 1, 2026—For 16 years, The Pink Event® has created opportunities for women to connect, celebrate, share experiences and build meaningful relationships. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Diamond Event Services will mark this milestone with The Pink Event®: Sweet 16 Legacy Edition, an intimate evening celebrating women's leadership, creativity, community and lasting impact.

Taking place from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Cambria Hotel Arundel Mills in Hanover, Maryland, the Sweet 16 Legacy Edition brings together an evening of signature conversations, live music and poetry, culinary experiences, featured small business exhibitors, networking and The Pink Event® Honors.

Founded and produced by Tamika Josephs-Smith, CEO of Diamond Event Services, The Pink Event® has evolved over 16 years while maintaining its focus on creating meaningful spaces for women to connect and celebrate one another.

“This milestone is about more than celebrating 16 years,” said Josephs-Smith. “It is about the women who have been part of this journey, the relationships formed along the way, and the impact we can make when we create space for women to connect, share their stories, recognize one another and imagine what is possible.”

An Evening Designed for Connection and Celebration

The Sweet 16 Legacy Edition will feature a curated program designed to bring together artistry, conversation, recognition and community in one evening.

Highlights include:

• The Pink Event® Honors: A special celebration recognizing women whose leadership, service, creativity and commitment to others are making a meaningful impact. Five awards will recognize honorees across distinct categories.

• Signature Conversations: Thought-provoking discussions centered on personal growth, intentional living, leadership and building a legacy that extends beyond oneself.

• Live Music and Poetry: Performances by jazz pianist and vocalist Sara Jones, poet and multidisciplinary artist Dr. Rebecca Dupas, and singer-songwriter Liesl Michelle.

• Featured Businesses: An opportunity to discover and shop a curated selection of small businesses and creative brands.

• Culinary and Dessert Experiences: Thoughtfully selected food and beverage offerings woven throughout the evening.

• Sweet 16 Legacy Raffle: A fundraising experience benefiting For 3 Sisters, The Pink Event®’s charity partner.

• Pink Carpet and Networking: Opportunities for guests to connect, celebrate and enjoy the evening together.

The event will be hosted by Tiffany “Lady T” Watson, an Emmy-nominated television host.

Celebrating Women and Strengthening Community

Community support remains an important part of The Pink Event®’s legacy. For 3 Sisters, the event’s charity partner, works to support breast cancer fighters and survivors through education, resources and support.

Proceeds from the Sweet 16 Legacy Raffle will benefit For 3 Sisters, connecting the event’s celebration of women with a broader commitment to community impact.

The Sweet 16 Legacy Edition also features a limited exhibitor experience, highlighting a curated group of businesses and brands while creating opportunities for guests to discover and support small businesses.
